Alexander is an entrepreneur, social innovation enthusiast and global citizen . He studied in Germany, Australia, Britain, holds a MSc in Business Administration and currently finishes an Executive MSc in Social Business & Entrepreneurship at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). During his studies, he co-founded the Swiss entity of a global non-profit student led development organization that enables students to engage in international development work programs in Latin America and Africa. He worked in under-resourced areas in Ghana on micro finance, social business and water-infrastructure projects and served as a board member of the international non-profit Global Brigades Inc. for two years. Passionate about driving positive change and collective action, Alexander initiated the Social Innovation Summit, a successful conference on entrepreneurship and social change in Zurich and scaled it to Stuttgart attracting more than 450 passionate change maker. Last but not least, Alexander is part of the founding team of a social startup focusing on responsible electronics and initiated the network Social Entrepreneurship BW to support and foster social entrepreneurship in Baden-Württemberg. At IHSTR, Alexander is in charge of developing programs, accelerators, fostering partnerships and designing events around social entrepreneurship, CSR, business ethics and initiatives that drive systemic change
